I would like to welcome you to Howling Ridge Aussies and Performance Horses .
The main goal here is to raise wonderful performance horses and great little Aussie dogs to go with you in pursuit of your dreams. I want both to be a big part of your lives for years to come, just as they are a part of mine. So with that long term goal, I strive to breed dogs and horses that are correct in conformation with great pedigrees and temperaments.

About the Horses

My stud is Frenchmans Roan Jet. He is a super nice stud that has a great performance pedigree that has proven it self time and again. Casanova, as we call him, just has the best temperament. He is passing his great conformation and temperament to his offspring. Oh and did I mention that hard to find roan color. We know that color isn’t everything but it sure makes for a nice package deal with the pedigree, conformation, and temperament. His foals can go into whatever sport you would like. They have enough run for the barrel pen and enough cow to go the roping side. I am a believer in the thought that both sports require the run and cow.

Take a look at the mares. There are blood lines represented in them that combine some of the newer blood and some of the older bloodlines that have been proven time and again. I believe that having good mares is one of the most important things in a breeding program.

About the Dogs

My dogs are all cherished members of the family who are all spoiled house brats. They are never kenneled and the pups are raised in the house with lots of socialization. Several of the dogs travel with me to all the barrel races. I strive to raise little dogs that have all the same characters that make the standard Aussies so great. If you are looking for your next little hauling partner or best friend at home, you won’t be disappointed in one of these pups. All dogs are National Stock Dog registered.
